Mining pool
Multi-coin, low-fee, UK-based. Run from the same flat as the rest of this. ~3,000 active miners on a typical Tuesday.
I run a mining pool, a small honest coin, and a blog about how this stuff actually works. By myself. From a flat in the south of England. Mostly at 2am.

Mission
Most of the crypto industry is a casino with a homepage. The interesting parts — the actual technology, the security tradeoffs, the maths of mining — get drowned out by people shouting about price.
I'm trying to build the opposite. A mining pool you don't have to think about. A coin that's small on purpose. A blog you can read without a single popup, paywall, or referral link. A YouTube channel that explains things rather than hyping them.
None of this is groundbreaking. The boring version of an industry is usually the version that lasts.
2014
Started writing about Bitcoin during the Mt. Gox aftermath. The first post is genuinely embarrassing — I still link it from the archive for honesty's sake.
2017
Bull market lifted everything. I kept writing about mining mechanics while the rest of the internet wrote about Lambos.
2020
Cybersec-focused, with crypto self-custody as a recurring theme. The audience overlaps with the blog by about 60%.
2023
A combination of bad timing, a hosting bankruptcy, and me being too tired to fight for the domain. 184 posts went offline overnight.
2025
Recovered most of the archive from the Wayback Machine and a friend’s mirror. Promised myself the next iteration would do more than just words.

Pool, coin, and blog under one roof. This site. Where you are now.
What I work on
The pool pays the bills. The coin is the side project I care about most. The blog is the front door for everything.
Multi-coin, low-fee, UK-based. Run from the same flat as the rest of this. ~3,000 active miners on a typical Tuesday.
Capped supply, fair launch, no premine. A small honest coin for tipping, paying for small things, and rewarding pool miners.
A decade of writing rebuilt from backups, plus a weekly newsletter and ~one YouTube video per fortnight on the channel.
The cybersec channel
The channel covers practical cybersecurity, crypto self-custody, hardware teardowns, and the occasional rant. Weekly-ish. I treat it as a parallel home for the same audience.

The promises
If I ever break one of these, I owe you a written explanation and probably a refund.
PROMISE 01
Every word on the blog is free to read forever. The pool fee pays for everything else.
PROMISE 02
If something can lose you money, the page says so. If something is unregulated, the page says so.
PROMISE 03
Every post is written by a human (me), edited by a human (also me), and signed.
PROMISE 04
We will never hold your funds. Every system here is designed so I can't steal from you if I wanted to.
PROMISE 05
No fake 'team' page with stock photos. If you're reading this, you're hearing from me directly.
PROMISE 06
No quarterly hype cycles. Mainnet ships when it ships. I'd rather be late than wrong.
