Your agreement with us
By using getcryptocoin — including the website, the mining pool, the GCC node software, the GCC wallet, the YouTube channel, and any other service we run — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
These terms are between you and Steven, sole trader, operating from England, United Kingdom (referred to here as "we", "us", or "the operator").
What we provide
- Mining pool for seven supported cryptocurrencies. Stratum endpoints, share aggregation, daily payouts to addresses you supply.
- GCC — our own fair-launch cryptocurrency. Currently in testnet.
- Wallet software — open-source, self-custodial, multi-coin. You hold your own keys.
- Blog, YouTube channel, documentation — published as information only. Not investment advice.
See /legal/risk for the full risk disclosure. This is the most important page on the site.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction. You must not be on any UK, EU, UN, US, or UK-aligned sanctions list. You must not use the services in a way that breaks the law in either your jurisdiction or ours.
Your obligations
- Use only your own hardware and wallet addresses. Do not point hijacked, leased-without-permission, or stolen capacity at the pool.
- Keep your seed phrase, 2FA codes, and account credentials private. We will never ask you for them.
- Do not attempt to attack, overload, scrape at abusive rates, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or otherwise interfere with the services.
- Pay your own taxes (see the tax section of the risk notice).
Pool fees and payouts
The pool fee for each coin is published on the pool page. Fees are deducted before payout. We may change fees with 30 days' notice. Payouts run on a daily schedule when your unpaid balance crosses the per-coin minimum.
Payouts go directly to the wallet address you provide. We hold no custody of user funds. If you give us a wrong address, the funds are not recoverable.
Availability
We aim for very high uptime but make no guarantee. Maintenance, upstream failures, and the occasional reboot will happen. We are not liable for earnings missed during downtime.
Intellectual property
The getcryptocoin name, logo, illustrations, and original written content are ours. You may quote short excerpts of blog posts (with attribution); do not republish full articles without permission. The GCC node software and the wallet are released under open-source licences that travel with the code.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for:
- Loss of funds caused by you losing or sharing your seed phrase.
- Loss of funds caused by sending to the wrong address.
- Loss of earnings during pool downtime.
- Loss caused by movements in the price of any cryptoasset.
- Loss caused by your hardware, your electricity supply, or your internet connection.
- Indirect or consequential loss of any kind.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for things English law does not permit us to limit (fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, etc.).
Termination
Either side can end this agreement at any time. You can stop using the pool or uninstall the wallet whenever you want. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you are breaking these terms or the law. Any payout above the per-coin minimum that has cleared at the time of termination will still be paid to your existing whitelisted address.
Changes to these terms
We will update these terms when services change or the law changes. The current effective date is shown at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage and (where possible) by email to signed-in users at least 14 days before they take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that we may bring proceedings in another country to protect our intellectual property where local enforcement requires it.
